A better solution for this problem is to just click the shape > format pane > turn on “Maintain Layer Order”.

Really Awesome, sir.. Help me in this please..- If i literally want to cut the outer edge of the artboard, instead of clip masking. Because after masking the inside elements are untouchable.. Hope, you identified this problem.. Please let me know.. 🙏🏼
